Happy Record Store Day To All

Today is national record store day! Please support your local store! It is dire and let the local companies continue to thrive in the music business that is now depleting by the second due to the digital era. I’ll tell you what music on vinyl is some of the best music you can hear and today you can find just what you want.
Stores like Newbury Comics and Bullmoose really thrive in entertainment music sales today, the local stores not so much, but if you have one from where you live it is a must to support them by all means! Whether you snag the latest and hottest record or the contemporary classics let Record Store Day be a place in your heart, or a place in your playlist, if you will.
Bands like the Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden still perform music within local music industries. Bands today still recognize their roots and show its appreciation by this, and the fans support them at all costs.

GoodWill Gold

Oh The Things You’ll Find at Goodwill

IMG_0218

Some days you find treasure and some days you don’t. Safe enough to say that today was the day I found gold. Ten records for ten bucks! David Bowie among the most surprised to see. As well as the Eagles, and Glenn Frey. Needless to say I left as a happy customer, with a fellow customer behind me gasping in disbelief. “That’s right, I can’t believe it either.” I said.

“You got some good ones!” I then gave a head nod and went on my way. As I grabbed for each record I screamed inner joy on the inside. “Is this really happening?”

Of course checking every single one for the actual record and they all were there, and in decent shape. What a find.

When I saw Bowie my eyes lit up, and then I just got sad. What a prized possession this is, and what memorable album at that! So right around this point I am pure shock, and in music heaven. Who in their right mind would let go of these? I mean I understand that records are no longer a thing. But c’mon these are classics we are talking about. A solid score if I do say so myself, holding each and everyone while looking over my shoulder, no joke it was that serious.
